Celtic Dreamtime

We specialise in weddings, corporate events and functions and can provide anything from garden and dinner music, through to more lively music for dancing.

 

Our instruments range from soothing harp and guitar, to lively whistle, flute and accordion.

 

Our repertoire comes from Irish, Celtic and Australian tradition. Depending on your needs we can expand to a full 4 or 5 piece band.

 

We can also perform as wandering minstrels, mingling with the crowd and providing music on a more intimate level.

 

We can perform songs and tunes from Australian, Irish, and Celtic backgrounds, as well as more modern popular songs, and Celtic arrangements of Australian rock classics.

 

Originally from Belfast, Alison is a very accomplished musician. She is a classically trained flautist & pianist and has performed in Ireland and Europe, & in folk clubs and festivals around Australia. She plays harp, tin whistles, low whistles, flutes (wooden and classical), bodhran, keyboard, piano accordion & bouzouki. Alison has taught tin whistle and bodhran at many festivals.

 

Steve is a superb guitarist, with a wonderful mellow voice. In the past he has performed with various bands
with styles ranging from rock & blues to folk, and has performed in many restaurants, pubs & clubs around Sydney.

Steve plays acoustic nylon string, and electric guitars.
